The expected price and features of Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro have appeared on the Chinese Weibo microblogging site to indicate what Xiaomi will release soon. A few of the photos strongly hinted at the Xiaomi Mi 11 series concept have also leaked on the internet. A completely separate tip claims that the Mi 11 will be launched with a curved large display sometime during the end of December. Earlier this week, co-founder and CEO Lei Jun revealed that among the first phones to come with the recently introduced Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC will be the Mi 11.
Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro expected specifications:
The Weibo post also indicates that both the Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro will feature a 6-inch QHD+ AMOLED display and a refresh rate of 120Hz. This confirms earlier reports on the Mi 11 series that indicated the new display. It is also rumored that smartphones provide a triple rear camera setup at the back.
The Mi 11 is fitted with a 108-megapixel main sensor, an ultra-wide-angle 13-megapixel lens, and a 5-megapixel zoom lens shooter. On the other side, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro is supposed to come with a main 50-megapixel camera that could be a 4:1 pixel binning display and could be a 200-megapixel camera. A 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 48-megapixel telephoto camera could also be included.
It is rumored that both the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro have 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB with UFS 3.1 storage. The entry-level models maybe these. In-display fingerprint authentication and NFC support are also required to support the phones.
It is claimed that the Mi 11 comes with a 4,780mAh battery with wired 50W and wireless 30W charging support. On the other side, the Mi 11 Pro might deliver a 4,500mAh battery along both wired 120W and wireless 80W charging. In specific, Xiaomi launched the Mi 10 Ultra with 120W rapid charging previously this year.
On the SoC side, as confirmed by Xiaomi’s Lei Jun, the Mi 11 will come with the Snapdragon 888. It is possible that the Mi 11 Pro would have the same SoC.
Any alleged photos of the Xiaomi Mi 11 have also appeared on Weibo, besides the specs. The photo shows the back of a square camera module with vertically placed main and secondary sensors. An Infrared (IR) blaster on the smartphone is also suggested in one of the leaked images.
Independently, a tipster operating on Twitter under the alias Ice Universe reported that Mi 11 would be launched at the end of December. This is contrary to previous rumors for the phone that indicated a launch in January.
Also, it has been said that the Xiaomi Mi 11 has a curved screen from all four sides. To remember, on the lateral sides of the screen, the Mi 10 series has a curvature.
Another tipster, who manages the Digital Chat Station Twitter account, has said that 120W rapid charging and a 50-megapixel photo camera would come with the Mi 11. No information about the Mi 11 series has been given by Xiaomi yet.
