The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro are going to release and probably predicted a little sooner than normal in mid-March. And along with some pretty believable talk about a third OnePlus 9 5G variant to fill the series, about which we already know much anyway. We already have a remarkably understanding about what the coming smartphones would appear like, due to an abundance of images of varied reliability. Even so, today brings to date the largest and perhaps most concrete leak for the OnePlus 9 5G. A concept unit appears to be out in the wild and it has been engaging in a close and practical hands-on photo experience.
It is to say, if we believe it is a prototype with actual version is soon to tell. This is a good presumption to make, based from how it appears, and the reality is that it boots and appears to work quite naturally. But more about a little bit of tech.
Two wide snappers and a single narrower unit, followed by an LED light, simply comprise the main camera rig. All that fits the vanilla rumors of OnePlus 9. But so far as we understand, the OnePlus 9 Pro, with its enigmatic, rumored fourth extra snapper, is the fascinating one in camera department.
The big leak even provides a few snapshots on the device with hardware data. We’ll return back to all those, but 12MP and 4MP have been recorded till now as cameras are concerned. We could only presume that it corresponds to an 48MP main camera and ultrawide 16MP.
You may be curious about the strange logo written on the back of the machine once we continue on towards the front of the device. In general, it is a placeholder. Many producers have a method of labeling prototypes with their own taste and style. That is fully predicted.
The OnePlus 9 5G seems to mimic its OnePlus 8T ancestor in the front. That entails the FullHD+ panel alone, 6.55-inch, wide, 120Hz, HDR, 20:9, 2400 x 1080-pixel. Just a minor change, perhaps if not completely similar with the one on the OnePlus 8T. Rounded edges appear extremely slim around this one, but not really a significant improvement over it’s own ancestor.
The source states that on the OnePlus 9 G, the frame is metal, possibly aluminum. It appears like all of the controls and buttons are in their usual positions. In case anybody was concerned, the iconic OnePlus Warning Slider stays a classic. We are also happy to see on single nanoSIM card tray a solid-looking rubber seal. OnePlus will largely adhere to it’s own long-standing tradition, as far as we fully understand, and simply avoid an authorized IP ranking for the vanilla OnePlus 9, while also providing it in realistic terms to an extent.
The OnePlus 9 Pro may be the only one to obtain a standardized label for entry security.
Finally, in the lahaina chipset, that is the code for the latest Snapdragon 888, the majority of the screenshots of the OnePlus 9 G device show a big spotlight. A good small fun surprise considering that the OnePlus 9 Pro was apparently found running rather than the Snapdragon 875 some few weeks earlier.
8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of non-expandable storage are also listed, including OxygenOS on top, but with Android 11. This basic unit sometimes refers to it as “LE2117.” All, it is important to remember that it is indeed a prototype with an OS construction accordingly. While all these statistics and indicators are undoubtedly very reliable, there is always a risk that some number of them may be misreported.
