The Samsung Galaxy A72 is scheduled to be unveiled soon next year and suspected smartphone renderings have now leaked. It appears to arrive with a similar layout as the Galaxy A52, for which the images were also previously posted. A quad rear camera configuration will feature with the Galaxy A72, disproving yet again the initial reports of the mobile featuring a Penta-camera configuration. It is also planned that the handset will have a glass and aluminum structure. Samsung has not publicly shared any details about the Galaxy A72 as of yet.
The alleged Galaxy A72 renders were posted via Voice by tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, alias OnLeaks. They screen phones from different angles, featuring a flat-screen for the selfie camera with even a hole-punch hole in the middle. In the center, the cutout is placed but not on the corner. In the images, too a four rear lens is seen, which aligns with some of the most recent leaks. It was initially speculated that the Galaxy A72 would be the first phone from Samsung to have a Penta-camera system on the rear.
Hemmerstoffer claims that a glass back panel with an aluminum frame would appear on the Samsung Galaxy A72. It will launch with a 6.7-inch screen, and at the base, the handset appears to have a 3.5mm audio socket, a Type-C USB port, and a speaker’s grille. The tipster applies 165×77.4×8.1mm to the alleged handset dimensions. Similar to the Galaxy A52, the rectangular camera configuration on the rear has a small hump and holds the flash inside the frame. The handset is anticipated to be 9.9mm thick with the camera rise added.
To sum up, the Galaxy A72 has a configuration very close to the speculated Galaxy A52, which is also supposed to be launched next year. Samsung officially trademarked labels for 9 A-series smartphones back in January and some of them were both the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72.
